Command An Army tier list

A tier list you can audit. Every placement states how many independent creators back it, and weaker claims stay out instead of being dressed up as fact.

How to read this: Ranked by reported role strength rather than by numbers. The game publishes no damage or health data, so any numeric ranking would be invented. Every placement that rests on a single source is labelled as such.

Why there is no numbers column

Every damage formula on a Command An Army tier list is guesswork. The game ships no public stats, the API exposes none, and balance changes weekly. What does exist is a large body of recorded matches, so this list reports what those matches show and ties each claim back to the creator who made it.

How to argue with this list

Every entry points at a unit page that states where the claim came from and whether one creator or several said it. If you disagree, the useful form of disagreement is a clip: show the matchup going the other way at equal star cost, and the entry gets corrected with the source attached.

Tier list FAQ

How is this tier list built?
From what creators report in gameplay breakdowns, with the number of independent sources attached to every entry. It is a consensus read, not a measured ranking.
Why is there no damage or DPS column?
Because the game publishes no damage or health numbers. Any DPS figure on a Command An Army tier list is invented, ours included.
Will this change after the next update?
Almost certainly. Update 3 is listed as Mongol Units, and any new unit or balance change invalidates part of this list.

Tier list or tierlist: the same ranking

Command An Army tier list and Command An Army tierlist are the same search with a space in a different place, and they lead to the same table above. What matters here is not the ordering format but what the ordering is based on: role fit, star cost and how reliably a unit does its job once the fight starts, judged from sources that agree with each other rather than from one creator opinion.

Read the tiers as bands rather than as a ladder. Two units inside the same band are usually close enough that your star budget, not the ranking, should decide which one you bring. Where a placement rests on a single report rather than two, it is labelled that way in the unit database, so you can see how much weight the position deserves.

Watch it in action

Every video below passed two checks before it went on this page: it resolves through YouTube’s own oEmbed endpoint, so the title and channel shown are the real ones, and it ships English captions, which is where the points beside it were read from. Nothing here is described from a thumbnail or a guess.

Read from the transcript
  • Drops Archer to C tier specifically because of the September 13 range cut, which is the same patch this site records in its balance table.
  • Calls Cavalry a weaker B tier, describing it as beginner-level cavalry, which fits the mid-chain role this site gives Cavalryman.
  • Places Berserker in S tier, directly contradicting the other creator sources this site relies on, which rate it the weakest 4-star. Two creators, two opposite verdicts, printed side by side rather than averaged.
